The 7th Inning Stretch
I took Roy for his first walk in a long time this afternoon. He had a great time, peeing on everything. We also got to work on “heel” which is coming along pretty good. After we got back Roy was pretty tired, which can be expected since he hasn’t done a whole lot in the past 7 weeks.
I got a birthday card in the mail from my parents today. It had a mug shot of a pug on it. Roy was kind of jealous of this other pug and decided to show it who was boss.
Roy’s latest thing to do is jump up on computer chairs in hopes it brings him closer to the human food. He gets on the chair and makes many attempts to jump on the table where the food is, but he’s too big of a wimp. Instead he just makes a lot of cute little noises out of frustration.
We’re looking to get back to the dog park this weekend, even if only for a little bit. The vet said he could get back to regular activity 7-10 days from last Friday, so this weekend looks good.
