Loki, in Norse mythology, was a cunning trickster who could alter his shape and gender. Was also companion of Odin and Thor, conniving with them but sometimes causing embarrassment.

Hello...Yup I named Loki after the God of Mischief. I thought it was a highly appropriate name for a Pug, and he has lived up to the name as well. And besides, it is a way better Pug name than what he came with when I adopted him....can you imagine my little guy called Pepe????

Hey Katherine & Loki,

I like the name Loki too! I think it would be a good name for a Boxer as well (the dog breed I mean). I don't have a Pug myself but a friend of mine has a Pug named Paco. I like that name.. I believe it's a nickname for Fransicso but can't remember for sure. John.
