Clay Pugs

The other night I got this desire to go buy some clay and make clay versions of Roy & Gwen. They turned out quite well for my first clay sculptures! We took some photos and used one for the new header. Here are some photos of the “process.”

You totally nailed the lazy pug sit on the fawn one (Roy)!

They are so cute! I thought you bought them when I saw the new header. Good work!

  5. Roy and Gwen's Mom Says:

Thank you for the compliments! The lazy pug sit on Roy was an extremely important detail. He always sits like that (and so does just about every pug I’ve met, except for Gwen. Gwen sits like a cat). They came out way better than I was expecting.

Oh those are so Darn Cute! I wondered where and how you got that new Banner on! Now I know! Very talented and creative!
    Love it!

Very cute! I made a black Pug a long time ago and it’s still in a baggy waiting to be baked. Did you bake yours?

  8. Roy and Gwen's Mom Says:

I haven’t baked them yet because I accidentally bought 2 different kinds of clay and the fawn portion of Roy’s body requires being baked twice as long. I might just redo his body then.
