Home Sweet Home
March 24th, 2008Here are some photos of the pugs enjoying their new home.
Here are some photos of the pugs enjoying their new home.
Several people have done this, so I thought I’d join in as it looks fun.
Here are the rules:
1. Pick 10 of your favorite movies.
2. Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie.
3. Post them here for everyone to guess.
4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie.
5. No Googling or IMDb-ing. That’s cheating and that’s no fun.
The Quotes:
1. That rug really tied the room together. (kim - “The Big Lebowski”)
2. Let me tell you something my friend. Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane. (Robin - “The Shawshank Redemption”)
3. She’s better than I thought. At this rate he’ll be kissing her by sunset for sure. (Roxy - The Little Mermaid)
4. Ahh, I’m mean wired as in jumpy, not as in there’s a concealed wire in my crotch. (HINT: stars someone who was on SNL) (heather - “Corky Romano”)
5. Look, Your Worshipfulness, let’s get one thing straight. I take orders from just one person: me. (Amanda - “Star Wars”)
6. You know, we are sitting here, you and I, like a couple of regular fellas. You do what you do, and I do what I gotta do. And now that we’ve been face to face, if I’m there and I gotta put you away, I won’t like it. But I tell you, if it’s between you and some poor bastard whose wife you’re gonna turn into a widow, brother, you are going down. (Roxy - “Heat”)
7. I don’t think I want to know a six-year-old who isn’t a dreamer, or a sillyheart. And I sure don’t want to know one who takes their student career seriously. I don’t have a college degree. I don’t even have a job. But I know a good kid when I see one. Because they’re ALL good kids, until dried-out, brain-dead skags like you drag them down and convince them they’re no good. You so much as scowl at my niece, or any other kid in this school, and I hear about it, and I’m coming looking for you! (Christine - “Uncle Buck”)
8. Shouldn’t you be holding the crucifix? It is THE prop for martyrs! (Nevis - “The Birdcage”)
9. Are you suggesting that I killed my wife? Are you saying that I crushed her skull and that I shot her? How dare you! When I came home, there was a man in my house. I fought with this man. He had a mechanical arm. You find this man. You find this man. (Amanda - “The Fugitive”)
10. Can you learn things that you haven’t been programed with, so you can be, you know, more human, and not just a dork all the time? (Amanda - “Terminator 2″)
All are answered now! Thanks for playing everyone.
We moved most of our belonging to the new place this past weekend, and last night was our first night sleeping here. The pugs are adjusting well, but they were certainly a bit concerned with all the furniture moving. Right now they’ve settled in well and are chilling on the big bed since it’s getting some sun right now.

We haven’t met any of the other dogs at our apartment complex yet. We’ve heard there is another pug named Harley. Maybe tonight we will meet some of them out for walks.
It’s been a while! We’ve been busy and sick again, but we’re almost back to normal again. We’ve been busy because we are moving. Today we took the pugs over to the new place for the first time today. We haven’t finished moving, so we aren’t living there yet. Hopefully that’ll happen next weekend. They love the new place since there are many sun spots to lay in, lots of space to run around and a little deck to sit out on.
Roy and Gwen love bread, so we let them chew on a stale bagette we had.
Hopefully we’ll be feeling normal soon and get some more photos posted after we finish moving into our new place.
I’m not a big fan of memes and tagging and the like, but I saw this one over on Pug Posse and thought it was cute and that I’d do it since I don’t really reveal much about myself.

Sorry for the lack of updates again. I just finished taking antibiotics for a case of strep throat, and I’m still feeling not so great, so hopefully I’ll be feeling okay soon to post more often.
Roy and Gwen are doing fine. They are both chewing on some “snozzles” (dried cow snouts) right now. Roy had a bad bout with acne on his chin, but it’s getting better now that we’ve been using stridex pads on his chin everyday.
We’ve both been sick, so sorry about the lack of updates. Here are a couple of photos from the last week or so.

Last week, Gwen and Jed were discovered laying next to each other on a bed. They were even touching! This was a amazing, as Jed usually gives Gwen a growl when she comes near him. It only took a year!

Roy & Gwen took a walk down the pond on the weekend. They are getting much more used to the snow, including doing their business outside without a problem. They have to be after all the snow we’ve had.
P.S. Happy New Year to everyone! I’ve been sick so we haven’t posted much. For those who wanted to know about the red noses in their Christmas photo, it was just a bit of photoshopping. We didn’t put anything on their noses. If we did they would have licked it off immediately!
